CARE GUIDE

At simple stories we believe in the longevity of natural fabrics and make all our products to last. But a little care goes a long way in making sure your favourite items remain long-loved pieces season after season.

COTTON

Cotton is a versatile fabric that is easy to look after, and a gentle care will help you enjoy this wonderful natural fabric for a long time.

Wash at 30ºC/86ºF in the machine with similar colours, using a delicate and environment friendly soap.

Do not bleach. Line dry or tumble dry on a low temperature. Avoid leaving in direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Iron while slightly damp.

LINEN

Linen is a natural fabric that becomes softer with every wear and wash. But remember that washing is hard on your textiles and on the environment, therefore we recommend hand washing in lukewarm water or by using a gentle machine wash cycle (<40ºC/104ºF), using a delicate and environment friendly soap.

To avoid the creasing that happens to linen wash your items in plenty of space and hang them to dry immediately.

Avoid tumble-drying your linen and try air-dry for a fresh look and feeling.

Iron your linen items inside out at a medium temperature and while they are slightly damp.

Do not bleach.
